God’s Strategy for Building Wealth

ree

When it comes to money, the best financial advice book you’ll ever find is the Bible. Proverbs 13:11 says, “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” That’s God’s way of saying wealth isn’t built by chasing "get-rich-quick-schemes" but by steady, faithful stewardship over time.

In retirement planning, one of the best ways to follow that principle is through something called dollar cost averaging. It’s not complicated—you simply put in a set amount of money on a regular basis, no matter what the market is doing. When prices are high, your money buys fewer shares. When prices are low, it buys more. Over the years, this balances out and keeps you from trying to “time the market,” which is a losing game for most people.

The secret is consistency. Keep contributing month after month, year after year. That’s how wealth grows “little by little.” It’s not necessarily flashy or exciting, but it works—and more importantly, it lines up with Biblical wisdom.
