Tools for "Calculating the Costs"

In Luke chapter 14, Jesus addresses what it involves to be one of His disciples. He explains that His disciples must be "all-in" and should consider the costs associated with following Him before embarking on the journey. To illustrate his point, he uses the analogy of a man building a tower and the need to consider all of the costs before embarking on the project.

While the analogy Jesus used is not the main impetus to the teaching, "counting the costs" is a necessary part of stewarding God's assets.
